Practical Information > Free listenersFor logistical reasons we had to limit the number of possible participants to the E&B2017 symposium. In order for our symposium to run as smoothly as possible, we obviously want to have as many presentations as possible.
However, we organize an international colloquium by and for students and young researchers. We also understand the attractiveness of it for students who still have no work to present and we do not want to close the door. Moreover, we can not at present know how many submissions will be submitted and finally accepted. There may be places available for free listeners.
Hence we decided to separate the abstract submission step from the registration stage. Participants who have filed an abstract and whose presentation will be accepted will be privileged and their application for registration will in fact be accepted. As for potential free listeners, they are encouraged to apply for registration from 3rd April, although we can not guarantee that they will be accepted.
The eventual free auditors can not be accommodated by the organizers and a financial contribution will be requested.
