Monday evening :
As a welcome, the organizing team proposes an evening-debate on popular science. This evening will be organized around 3 workshops led by extension specialists who will introduce you to their point of view, their tools and their methods of spreading science to the general public. You will be encouraged to interact and debate around this issue,at the heart of this edition of the Ecology & Behavior Symposium. Always in a spirit of conviviality, each participant is invited to bring back food and/or drinks which will then be pooled during a collaborative buffet.
Wednesday afternoon :
A free half-day is proposed in order to discover the surroundings. The Center d'Etudes Biologiques de Chizé is located on the edge of a vast forest, 30 minutes from the city of Niort and 1 hour from the port city of La Rochelle. You can also enjoy this free time to perform a relaxing boat ride in the heart of the nearby Poitevin marshes. Some organized excursions will be proposed: visit of the animal park Zoodyssée (http://www.zoodyssee.org/), exit in the Biological Reserve of Chizé etc. (Upcoming program)
